As we mentioned when we sent you the resources, Freedom Charity has delivered successful assemblies and workshops to over 160 schools in the UK and donated over 65000 helpful books, authored by Aneeta Prem, which are approved by Ofsted and the Forced Marriage Unit and are specially designed to highlight to school children the issues of Forced Marriage and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
Freedom can provide whole-school staff training to equip teachers and ancillary staff with valuable knowledge. Training includes interactive workshops on what to look out for and how to spot the signs; identifying students at risk; educating and supporting students affected by these issues, and how to use the lesson plans effectively.
