Corporate Partnerships

Freedom Charity · Corporate partnerships

Your business. Their freedom.

Choose Freedom as your Charity of the Year and help prevent forced marriage, female genital mutilation (FGM) and Dishonour Abuse.

Whether you are a small business, a national employer or an international company, your team can support education, safeguarding and routes to help for people at risk. We will discuss a partnership that fits your organisation and Freedom’s charitable work.

A cause your colleagues can stand behind

Make Freedom your Charity of the Year.

A Charity of the Year partnership gives your staff a shared cause and a practical way to take part. Colleagues could run a challenge, hold a fundraising day, arrange matched giving or support an agreed education or prevention project.

We can discuss your aims, provide approved information about Freedom and agree how to report on the activities your support funds. We will never invent a cost per child protected or present downloads as proof that abuse was prevented.

Ways to partner

Choose what works for your business.

Employee fundraising

Team walks, quizzes, workplace events and individual challenges. We can help you find a suitable way to take part.

Matched giving

Support your employees’ fundraising through your existing matching scheme, if you have one.

Corporate donations

Make a qualifying company donation or discuss support for an agreed area of Freedom’s charitable work.

Red Triangle campaigns

Use Freedom’s genuine badge and approved campaign materials to raise awareness of FGM in your organisation.

Employee networks

Women’s networks, LGBTQ+ groups and staff associations can choose Freedom for an appropriate fundraising or awareness event.

Strategic partnerships

For major gifts, trusts, foundations and substantial programme funding, we have a separate route for detailed discussions.

Major gifts and partnerships.

LGBTQ+ businesses, Pride and staff networks

Freedom to love. Freedom to choose. Freedom from abuse.

Nobody should be forced into marriage because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

LGBTQ+ people can face pressure, threats and family abuse when relatives reject their identity or relationships. Forced marriage can be used to try to control whom someone loves or how they live. Freedom wants more people to recognise the risk, challenge the abuse and know where to turn for help.

We welcome approaches from LGBTQ+ owned businesses, Pride organisers, employee networks, inclusive professional groups and companies seeking a charity partner. Your organisation can support prevention and safeguarding without asking anyone to disclose their identity or personal experiences.

Choose Freedom as a cause

Nominate Freedom for an employee network’s annual fundraising programme or invite your members to consider us through their normal decision-making process.

Bring your workplace together

Organise a staff event, matched-giving appeal or agreed awareness activity. We can discuss using approved Freedom information and a fundraising route that suits your organisation.

Partner through a Pride event

If you organise Pride or another community event, contact Freedom about a suitable fundraising partnership. No affiliation or event appearance should be announced until agreed.

Fundraising enquiries are separate from confidential safeguarding enquiries. We do not use a person’s disclosure, identity or experience of abuse as a condition of help, and we do not ask partners to identify LGBTQ+ employees or beneficiaries.

From an idea to a partnership

Make a plan we can deliver together.

Start with a conversation. Tell us what your organisation has in mind: a one-off employee fundraiser, a year-long Charity of the Year, a matched-giving scheme or a substantial charitable gift.

Agree the practical details. We can discuss the proposed activity, realistic dates, use of the charity’s name and approved materials, fundraising methods and the contact responsible for the partnership.

Make the arrangement clear. For significant or restricted support, we would need to agree the purpose, capacity, costs, governance and appropriate reporting before making public commitments.

Thank your people properly. We want colleagues to know what they have supported. We distinguish activities and reach from outcomes that need independent evidence.

Safeguarding comes first

Support that respects everyone.

Forced marriage can affect people of any gender, including LGBTQ+ people facing pressure or threats because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. No employee needs to disclose their identity or experiences to support our work.

If someone needs help, they should be able to access it privately. Fundraising enquiries and safeguarding enquiries must remain separate.
